Run With Ray in Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny, Drogheda & Dublin

The Ray D’Arcy Show hits the road this summer

Run with Ray is back! RTÉ Radio 1’s The Ray D’Arcy Show hits the road this week with runs in Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny, Drogheda and Dublin.

From today (Monday 16 June) and over the next four days, Ray will be broadcasting live from Tramore Valley Park, Cork (today, Monday 16 June), SETU Campus, Waterford (Tuesday 17 June), The Parade in Kilkenny city (Wednesday 18 June), Oldbridge Estate near Drogheda (Thursday 19 June), and Newbridge House, Donabate, Co Dublin (Friday 20 June). Each programme will feature a range of local stories and guests bringing listeners along on the journey.
Ray will then join the starting line at 5.30pm with runners from each community who have signed up to Run with Ray for 5km.

Registration is still open. The team are looking for runners, joggers, and walkers from across the country to come along for a fun afternoon of craic, conversation, and community. https://www.runwithray.ie/#register

As we get closer to the start line, Ray will be chatting with runners from around the country as they plan to join the team!

The aim is to get communities outdoors and moving, Ray D’Arcy says: “It's one of our favourite weeks of the year, when we don our shorts, runners and t- shirts and get to run with our listeners. To make it even better this year - it's looking like we are in for a good run of weather! (pun intended!) So, if you're around this week, and anywhere near Tramore Valley Park, Cork, SETU Waterford, Kilkenny Castle Park, Oldbridge Estate on the border of Meath and Drogheda, or Newbridge House in Donabate, we would love to see ye!”
