The RTÉ Radio Player App allows users to listen live to all our radio shows across nine stations including Radio 1, 2FM, Lyric FM, Raidió na Gaeltachta, Pulse, 2XM, Junior, Gold and Radio 1 Extra. Listeners can also enjoy podcasts of all their favourite shows at their own convenience as well as the ability to share, comment and contact a programme by using the RTÉ Radio Player.

With the RTÉ Radio Player, leveraging modern multi-media technology it allows us to bring you a far superior quality of audio directly to your mobile device.

This is good news for advertisers too as RTÉ Media Sales have launched audio pre-roll advertising on the RTÉ Radio Player app, allowing brands to reach a wider audience. Audio ads can be anywhere between 10-30 seconds in duration and they can also be channel and time targeted.

The result of meeting the demand of convenience can be seen in the below figures.
