RTÉ is upgrading its Copy Clearance system. 

 

We are moving away from the requirements to complete a pdf form for submission of cases to an email address and will be rolling out an online portal that we anticipate will bring many benefits. 

 

This will allow agencies to create cases under various users in one central area as well as:

 

  • A single point of entry for case management with RTÉ 

  • Centralise communications for each case  

  • Provide a record of all correspondence of each case 

  • Speedily allow for the creation of new and duplicate cases 

 

As we prepare for the rollout of the system, any company wishing to have copy cleared to run on RTÉ services, will be required to register to gain access to the new clearance portal. 

 

We will be sending out details on how to do this in the coming weeks to allow you to prepare. 

 

An easy-to-use guide and video will be provided to take you through the registration process, as well as how to use the new portal. 

 

Once the system is up and running RTÉ will no longer accept clearance requests via email or pdf forms.
