The 2023 International Rose of Tralee selection drew a peak of 576,000* viewers as audiences tuned in to RTÉ One to see an emotional and delighted New York Rose Róisín Wiley announced as the 2023 International Rose of Tralee by presenters Kathryn Thomas and Dáithí Ó Sé.
Last night, an average audience of 497,000** watched the Rose of Tralee International Festival 2023 after the Nine O'clock News on RTÉ One.
Across the two days of the festival, an average audience of 406,000** tuned in. The show also had a 1-minute reach of over 1.3 million**** across both nights.
The Rose of Tralee has proved to be increasingly popular among 15-34 audiences as it grew from 45.5% to 53.7% this year. RTÉ Player has a total of 139,600 streams to date across both nights in Ireland and 69 countries around the world including the UK, the US, Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand and more.
On social media, @rteone Rose of Tralee content has over 2.2 million views and counting across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter to date, and over 66,000 total interactions across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Every year RTÉ supports over 150 arts, cultural, community and related events all over Ireland including The Rose of Tralee International Festival with dedicated promotion on RTÉ’s television, radio and digital services, and extensive support across RTÉ’s social channels.
