Marketing Institute Ireland Celebrates the 18th Annual All-Ireland Marketing Awards

 

Marketing Institute Ireland (MII) hosted the 18th annual All-Ireland Marketing Awards (MII AIM Awards) last night, celebrating the exceptional talent and ground-breaking business results delivered by the marketing industry. The event, held at The Clayton Burlington brought together Ireland's most innovative and effective marketing professionals to honour their outstanding contributions to the growth of business and the Irish Economy. RTÉ's Kathryn Thomas hosted the awards ceremony, while RTÉ Media Sales sponsored the Client Agency Collaboration Award, which was awarded to Water Wipes and PHD Media. The Gradam Margaíochta le Gaeilge went to ESB Electric Ireland, with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta sponsoring. 

Marketing Institute Ireland also awarded the inaugural Grand Prix for the marketing programme that most positively impacted business. The Award honoured the most outstanding achievement across all categories, symbolising the highest level of recognition nationally in the field of professional marketing.

The Grand Prix Award was presented to Greta Hammel of Promise Gluten Free. Shane McGonigle, CEO of Marketing Institute Ireland, commented: "Greta Hammel is a very deserving winner of the inaugural Grand Prix Award. Their application of professional marketing competences to the development and growth of the business was exceptional, driving sustainable competitive advantage that continues to build the brand across multiple international markets. Tom Kinsella, Chairperson of MII, delivered an address, emphasising the importance and value that professional marketing contributes to Irish business success and sustainable economic growth. He also expressed gratitude to the sponsors, and to the media partners, Mediahuis, and the panel of expert adjudicators for their invaluable support and dedication.

In his speech, Tom Kinsella also took a moment to thank Gerard O'Neill, the outgoing chair, for his exceptional leadership and contributions. He welcomed new board members Fiona Curtain and Mark Nolan, highlighting their potential to bring fresh perspectives and drive future growth for MII.

The evening was a celebration of marketing brilliance, with over 850 attendees enjoying a night of networking, inspiration, and recognition. The MII AIM Awards continue to be a testament to the talent and innovation that drive the marketing industry in Ireland.
