Have you seen RTÉ.ie today? We hope we didn’t scare you!!

As well as wishing all of our customers and clients a Happy Halloween we wanted to take this opportunity to highlight our new media first format offering. Say hello to our Responsive Overlay format...Yes responsive. You can view it in action here. Also make sure to check out how it looks on your mobile phone device. We recommend viewing this build in Chrome or Fire Fox for the best experience. This responsive design has been built by our design team, led by our Creative Specialist Regina Geraghty.

Why Responsive?

The new Multi-Platform Responsive Overlay format works as an advertising solution across all screens and provides brand consistency for our clients, no matter what device the audience are using. Previously, we offered high impact advertising solutions on desktop in the form of conventional rich media builds. This move towards responsive builds by RTÉ Create is the next phase of rich media. It allows brands to have a consistent message, look and feel across all RTÉ devices where their ads are seen. The benefit of this for advertisers is expanded reach of their creative and message, as it will now be seen by more people, on more platforms, in turn positively impacting on brand recall and delivery for their campaigns. Currently, almost 50% of Irish adults connect to RTÉ’s digital services weekly including RTÉ.ie, RTÉ News Now and RTÉ Player. We are continually evolving to ensure we deliver an excellent user experience across all our services for our audiences and this includes commercial advertising too.
