RTÉ Media Sales to Sponsor Effie Awards Ireland 2023
Effie Awards are a global recognition of marketing effectiveness, where winners from over 60 regions, including Ireland, are assigned to the Global Effie Index as the best example of work that directly impacts business growth.
IAPI brought the Effie programme to Ireland for the first time in 2021, and the Effie Awards Ireland 2023 is once again supported by RTE Media Sales and An Post Commerce. In addition, two new sponsors have come on board in DMG Media Ireland and ESB.
“To have the support of these industry giants is a real testament to the prestigious nature of Effies, and we look forward to working with our partners over the course of the next three years. The move towards marketing effectiveness as a business imperative is apparent in most brand organisations right now, and by making the Effie Awards Ireland an annual programme, we aim to consistently maintain and reward this focus”, says Charley Stoney, CEO, IAPI.
To get everyone in the right frame of mind, IAPI are kicking off the 2023 Effie programme with an event on 2nd March, at the Minerva Suite, RDS. A group of senior marketers and agency speakers will share their insights and thoughts on how to build an effective case and how to collaborate cross functionally within brand organisations and with agency partners to get the best outcomes.

With over 25 years’ experience working in the World of insights, David previously held senior positions as Joint Managing Director at RED C, Managing Director at OI Research and as Director at Kantar. He is also the current Chair of the Marketing Society and a Board member at AIMRO. David will share his thoughts on the importance of data in building a compelling effectiveness, or ‘Effie-able’ case and how to do this.
