New to the RTÉ Player in June

A ton of comedy is coming to the RTÉ Player this June! One of the best US sit-coms of all time, one of the best Irish sit-coms of all time and some brilliant stand-up.

 

Frasier

 

 

The show that became more iconic that the show of which it was a spin-off, Frasier is coming to the RTÉ Player in June. Over 100 episodes of this exceptional comedy will be available. So you can watch your favourite radio psychologist, Dr. Frasier Crane, as he moves back to his hometown of Seattle, where he lives with his salt-of-the-earth father. The show won three Golden Globes during its run. If you haven't seen it before now's your chance to find out what all the hype is about.

 

Des Bishop Stand Up Specials

 

 

The hilarious Des Bishop brings his unique take on Irish life to the RTÉ Player in five of his most famous stand-up specials. Since moving from Queens, New York to Ireland in his mid teens, Des Bishop has carved out a highly successful career in stand up comedy in Ireland as well as having a number of acclaimed television series. This June we're bringing Des Bishop - Live in Vicar Street, Desfunctional, Fitting In, Des Bishop - Live and Tongues for the stand-up comedy nuts out there! 

 

Bridget & Eamon

From the genius minds of Bernard O'Shea and Jennifer Maguire sprouted Bridget & Eamon, the typical unhappily married 80s Irish couple. They live somewhere in the Midlands with their indeterminate number of children. Series 4 of this hilarious series will be on the RTÉ Player in June.
