Further to the consolidation of our Trading team last year, we at RTÉ Media Sales are streamlining the rest of our business to enable us to operate in a more integrated and aligned way, as we aim to continually improve our service to you.
As you are aware, TV, radio, digital and print have previously been sold separately and been managed by different teams. We are currently merging these teams into a single integrated structure in order to offer you, our customers, more effective and more efficient ways of doing business with us.
RTÉ Media Sales will now be grouped by operational function rather than by media. These functions are Trading, Client Sales, Strategy and Commercial Compliance, Commercial Operations and Commercial Solutions.
Geraldine O’Leary leads this new structure as Group Head of Commercial:
“This is an exciting time for RTÉ as we continue to modify our structure and ways of doing business, to provide a more efficient, agency and client-focused service. The current changes are a response to agency and client communications with us as to how to make it easier to do business with RTÉ and also, from our perspective, a real need to combine the unique strengths and scale of RTÉ platforms into a single unrivalled offering in the Irish marketplace”.
